Enclosure and Lighting Fixtures for Group I

This section is for Ex d equipments for group I (mines).
There are the following equipments: junction and fitting boxes type S, equipment containers type MU and GUB, cable-glands, fluorescent lighting fixtures type EVFT/I, foodlight RLEQ/I, junction box for high voltage up to 1kV and up to 6,6 kV.

The A.D. VIGANÒ produces and it commercializes special electric equipments, destined in areas with danger of explosion. The products are classified in base to their degree of protection EEx d (both of surface group II, that in mine group I), safety materials increased EEx e, to intrinsic safety EEx i and waterproof materials. The typologies of product are the followings: rigid and flexible conduit, accessories of fixing and pipe accessories, armoured cable, lighting fixtures, electric box ADPE, junction box also for voltage up to 6,6kV, push-buttons, power sockets and plugs, measuring instruments housing, limit switches, acustic signal etc.

The products are built in accord to the Normative European (CEI 31-8 CENELEC EN 50014, CEI 31-1 CENELEC EN 50018, CEI 31-7 CENELEC EN 50019, CEI 31-9 CENELEC EN 50020) and conform to ATEX 94/9/EC, they are used in places where the presence of gas or inflammable dusts can create highly explosive atmospheres like: gas, metane grisou, hydrocarbons, solvents, paints and resins, alcohol, fragrances and perfumes, distillates, plastic materials and rubbers etc. Dusts created during the manufacture of: agricoltural products, metals, chemical products, wood etc. Our firm also furnishes a series of consulting services and engineering, from the guide to the choice of the products, to the classification of the areas.
